@Fabio F77
... speculation for its own sake! (or rather: to enrich speculators to the detriment of the community!). :-(

hello Franco, I was born not far away, in Salita Sassi (if you are from Genoa, but I haven't figured this out yet, you know where it is), passing by there my heart tightens and looking at the tombstone my blood boils; so much humanity before as squalor now
hello, good evening
Carlo

Everything passes, all time erases
But memory remains.
I am sorry for what happened, but we can individually commit ourselves to improving our society, with our individual efforts.
It's never too late
Thanks for sharing Franco
Good evening

@CarloAvi
Thank you Carlo for visiting and commenting.
I was born in Genoa, then I lived 'around', mainly Turin, Milan and, occasionally, elsewhere, even in various European cities.
I am always 'indignant' towards those who do not respect others, history and the health of others (and these 'reciprocate'! in fact they do not forget some of my photographic investigations on the indiscriminate use of 'strange' products in agriculture and farming).
We live, unfortunately, in a deviant society and ... but this is not the appropriate place to talk about it!
If I come to Genoa I will inform you and I would like to meet you.
Good evening.

@Renni
Thank you Renato; I agree with what you say, in fact each of us can do 'some small thing' which, together with the 'little things' of all the others, can at least sensitize young people to value and rebuild what, unfortunately, our generation has 'squandered''.

Nice shot Franco. There is an interesting review of images of the disappeared neighborhood exhibited at Palazzo Doria Spinola at the top of Via Roma. I was there on Sunday, it deserves it.
