Hervé Lewis, nato nel sud della Francia nel 1954, è un fotografo autodidatta che ha saputo fondere la sua passione per lo sport e la conoscenza del corpo umano in un'arte fotografica caratterizzata da una profonda sensualità ed erotismo. Inizialmente noto come allenatore per celebrità come Johnny Hallyday, Mylène Farmer e Jean Reno, Lewis ha trasferito la sua comprensione delle forme fisiche nella fotografia, utilizzando una Nikon FM manuale sin dai suoi esordi. La sua fama è strettamente legata alle iconiche campagne pubblicitarie "Lezioni di Seduzione" del marchio di lingerie Aubade, dove ha catturato immagini che combinano eleganza e provocazione, trasformando la nudità in una celebrazione estetica del corpo femminile. La sua attenzione alle morfologie e alle forme gli permette di creare immagini che esaltano le curve e le linee del corpo, rendendo ogni scatto un'ode all'erotismo raffinato.
