con Sony FE 2.0x, 1/500 f/9.0, ISO 2000, tripod.

Sicuramente il viaggio più difficile che ho affrontato in questi ormai 10 anni di intensa attività fotografica; 3 giorni completi di auto su strade per niente agevoli; più volte su e giù per passi alpini scendendo a quota 2000 e risalendo a 3000 tragitto obbligato per raggiungere la destinazione finale e acclimatamento alla quota. Finalmente si arriva; la neve è poca ma le previsioni promettono una nevicata a breve. Il panorama è veramente mozzafiato ma a rendere ancora più difficile il respiro è sicuramente la quota 4.200 mt un'aria tersa e pura mai respirata. Camminare è incredibile fatti pochi metri ci si ferma per prendere fiato (una sensazione strana quasi assurda) un'esperienza non da tutti e il mal di montagna, può colpire chiunque e purtroppo un componente del gruppo ne ha fatto suo malgrado le spese costretto al rientro in Italia. Il secondo giorno una coppia di leopardi viene avvistata e per posizionarsi sul ciglio della montagna quasi correndo carico di adrenalina mi ha fatto per un attimo dimenticare i problemi fisici ma la natura ti riporta subito alla realtà facendomi fermare per 5 minuti interi a respirare a fatica. Solo vederli è stato un sogno reso reale nel vederli interagire e muoversi veramente come due fantasmi nella neve.. Bellissimo! La distanza è notevole ma fortunatamente le fotocamere e gli obbiettivi attuali ci consentono una buona resa. Il giorno successivo e per altri 2 giorni non è successo nulla; abbiamo cercato di fotografare altro ma la testa portava sempre all'immagine del leopardo. Poi finalmente appena prima di colazione i fantastici “scanner” ci avvisano che un leopardo è tornato nella zona ; ancora in tuta e in fretta e furia ci siamo fiondati nel vallone dove un leopardo trovata una carcassa stava cercando di banchettare. Il giorno dopo finalmente la neve che ci ha donato uno spettacolo unico; in poche ore il paesaggio è drasticamente cambiato quasi come se qualcuno avesse cambiato lo sfondo di un set fotografico. Tutto ovattato un silenzio ancora più silenzioso del normale .. Ma sto sognando? Forse ma intanto mi godo lo spettacolo.!
