I tell you so because I had tried and returned the 400mm f2.8 canon first series on 5D MIV and the result was unacceptable.... They were film lenses and not suitable for all the pixels of now..... apart from the weight ... 7.5 Kg ... the detail was not sharp at all even if the blur of the background was wonderful ;-)
