Questa piazza emblematica si trova nella parte sud del centro storico. Conosciuta anche come il «cuarto de estar», ovvero il salotto dei pamplonesi, è considerata il cuore della città e il nucleo della vita sociale degli abitanti di Pamplona. E' la piazza principale con una lunga serie di palazzi che si affacciano sui quattro lati, il salotto per gli eventi della città. Molto frequentata dagli abitanti della città, ma anche dai turisti è luogo in cui si svolgono anche concerti e varie manifestazioni, al centro vi è un chiosco per la musica. Anticamente era luogo per corride.
