come si comporta il grandangolare della sigma sulla d800? noto una certa perdita di nitidezza ai bordi anche a f/9 (vedendo la foto versione hd) ... è ovvio che la d800 sia ottimizzata per far prevalere le ottiche dedicate (14-24 f/2.8 o 16-35 f/4), era giusto una curiosità per comprendere la gestione delle ottiche più "economiche" da parte del sensore da 36mpx

Hai perfettamente ragione, il Sigma 12-24mm andava bene con la D700, ma con la D800 è tutt' altra storia.
E' per questo che l' ho venduto, adesso per portare in viaggio volevo comprare il Nikon 16-35mm, ma sto prendendo in considerazione anche il 18-35mm che dai test recenti risulta sorprendentemente tagliente e nitido, forse anche più del suo fratello maggiore. Il Nikon 14-24mm non me lo porto nei viaggi a causa del suo peso

Uno scatto d'effetto sia per composizione che per cromie specialmente per quel che riguarda il cielo.
I bianchi sull'edificio mi sembrano un po sparati ma forse e' il mio monitor.
La cosa che non capisco e' la scritta capitol

Per quanto riguarda il bianco del Campidoglio in effetti ha una dominante che ho dato intenzionalmente, forse sbagliando, ma il mio proposito era di creare un' atmosfera vintage. Sempre per questo motivo il colore ed il contrasto del cielo.
La scritta è una mania solo per bilanciare la composizione.
Per le linee cadenti era impossibile allontanarmi ancora, però avrei potuto tenere la macchina più dritta
