You're absolutely right. The circular waves (here obviously elliptical because of the pdr) hang to the left. I don't remember if when I worked on the PP I had cutting problems with the tail that ended up attached to the right edge due to the corrective rotation, but in any case I could have certainly done better.

Hai perfettamente ragione. Le onde circolari (qui ovviamente ellittiche per via del pdr) pendono a sinistra. Non ricordo bene se quando ho lavorato sulla PP io abbia avuto problemi di taglio con la coda che finiva attaccata al bordo destro per via della rotazione correttiva, ma in ogni caso avrei sicuramente potuto fare di meglio.
