I must say that I like the orchid shot.
I understand from the caption what your documentary intentions were, but in my opinion the ear next to the real subject greatly distracts his vision. In this case I would have used artificial intelligence to make what disturbs disappear easily and in addition, at this point, again thanks to AI, added a piece of image to the right of the observer to bring the photo back to the right size. Certainly it is not correct, but since this is now part of our existence, why not always use it naturally by declaring its use.
Don't hold it against me. :-D

Beautiful macro well composed. It is also very original. You could be careful about the cut of the leaf on the right. For the rest, I don't agree with those who preceded me, because mixing A.I. makes no sense. At that point you could create a completely fake one.
Hello.

Finally we start again! Nice shot, in this case also informative. So I don't agree with Pigi, also because if Luigi wanted a "normal" photo he would have simply avoided the old one from the frame. :-D

First blooms what beauty. The idea is excellent, the old giving way to the new. Let's forget about the AI discord, which is certainly having a massive impact, a tool that can be useful, however, in many respects. I would have tried to blur the old barlia more, to impale the foreground less. Too bad for the cut sepal.

Beautiful image and main subject (the new orchid), the idea of placing the old and the new flowering side by side is also very beautiful, perhaps we could only improve the composition a little, but it is only my personal idea.
Congratulations, hello, Alessandro

The symbolism is beautiful: the old and the new, death and new life.

Gorgeous maf with the blurred background that adds three-dimensionality to the main subject :-)
