Thank you very much!
Gion65, luck in 70% of cases, then honestly I have been looking for the kingfisher for years as I say. Always photos either out of focus or that you see the heat. It's not easy, especially with cameras that aren't made for this kind of photo. The thing that gives me the most satisfaction is that all the photos I take are manual, including the focus which in this case was totally manual at a distance of 6.5m. However, with patience everything is done.

But come Stefano! It went well; after 2 years of trying it's gone! I would say perseverance more than anything else :-D

Wonderful photo congratulations, I can't explain how literally horrible photos we have 200 likes and photos like this 10. I won't comment further.
I leave you my like which is worth as 1000. Very good, for composition, focus and detail. It is an elusive and very fast bird. With a camera like the A7iii that I know very well (not made for this kind of photo) it is even more space.

Demonstration that rolling shutter does not always create problems..., here it gave the shot a unique originality.
For the rest, I agree word for word with Luca Toniato's opinion. Congratulations! ;-)

Super nice, thank you so much. Yes, in this case it gave that extra touch of dynamism!
Other photos of the series, on the other hand, have distorted everything especially when he dives, maybe later I will publish them to show them.
