I'm not one to make portraits, in fact, I'm really incapable. But I still want to publish this photo, where the technical data and the lens used betray my total unpreparedness at the moment and at the opportunity. The focus of the machine is on Noorh on the right, but the attention falls on Reham's profile on the left. A spontaneous moment, stolen at sunset from these two Saudi girls, while they observe the setting sun behind the mountains of Al Manara, in the Al Gharameel desert about 2 hours from Al Ula (Saudi Arabia). The light is natural, the minimal edition.

I find it a beautiful image
Very beautiful light and the moment captured, the spontaneity of the pose and the faces :-D
Then I also like, because I find them characteristic, the clothes :-D
Congratulations Gianluca
A very dear greeting and best wishes for a Happy New Year :-D

Very beautiful as a portrait, the light of the sunset in the Saudi desert made the difference...

Thank you all! Too good! As soon as I go back I'll take the 85 f1.8 Meike and see if I improve something.

Not only is it a beautiful portrait, but the context is also beautiful. In particular, the three-dimensionality and the thousands of small shades of shadows/light/color are striking. You are caught by the sweet expression of the girl in the foreground as opposed to the cunning expression of the girl in the background.
