Always welcome surprise, a nice martin in good light!
Personally, I would have removed that blurred twig that passes over the beak in the post.
The PdR is good and the detail is excellent.
Impplimenti for the beautiful portrait!

Thanks for the advice, but these are things I don't do.
I already consider myself lucky to have met this feathered free, out of reserves and aviaries.
The possible shooting conditions were those, and embellishing the photo (beyond contrast and chromaticism) by manipulating it and removing parts that were there (or worse adding others that were not there) is not part of my (old) way of photographing.
Greetings

Congratulations Yellow.
I also saw and photographed it on 29/12 at the "stagnetto" of Imbersago.
Unfortunately, however, from much further away and in very bad light conditions.
Congratulations really on the catch

Thank you very much. I think I was just lucky, so close to the town of Brivio and with people passing by shouting, on foot, by bike and with dogs running wild.
Yet he was there, he didn't flinch and let himself be approached, despite my clumsiness.
The good thing is that I had the R7 and the 100-500 L ready.

Eh I think he got used to it... and then, a little "C" every now and then doesn't hurt.
However, I have never caught him in Brivio. ;-)

Thank you Luigi.
For Undertaker: yes, every now and then a little C doesn't hurt.
