Particolare di un dipinto della corrente orientalista di autore sconosciuto (firmato sul retro della tela ma illeggibile). Verosimilmente il soggetto del dipinto è tratto da una fotografia di fine '800 o inizio '900 (Il Cairo ?), pratica molto in uso in quel periodo. Un raggio di sole ha isolato uno dei protagonisti della scena ritratta lasciando in ombra tutti gli altri. P.S. Ho trovato la foto originale da cui è stato tratto il dipinto: è " Cafè arabe aux vieux Caire " datata 1890 del fotografo Jean Pascal Sèbah (1872 - 1947 )
