Vajont. #BiancoeNero #BlackAndWhite #Montagna

Hi Giancarlo, the caption you wrote was interesting even if I knew it, I didn't know about Davide Serpagli's publication... . The image shows a severe part of the mountain enriched by snowy tongues and a well-balanced contrast and toning of the B/W. Very beautiful. Great.. I take this opportunity to wish you sincere wishes for a Happy New Year full of JOY. A hug, bye.

Beautiful and disturbing. Even if it is a detail, the extent of the landslide movement that caused the reservoir to overflow can still be guessed.

It happened when I was a child and they told me that it was a "misfortune".
Subsequent evidence demonstrated indisputable incapacity, negligence, embezzlement that led to the death of over two thousand people and the destruction of some villages.
Things happening, arrogance of power and no culprit......
... And not even a little shame.

I agree with my friend Paolo, impunity has become a habit in many Italian events, indifferent from small to large scales.
Nice bn
