Title is really... I was first there in 1989. I said "to see Iceland and die". Because of crazy september storm we were very near to heaven ;-)

This valley of Landmannalaugar is one of my favorite landscapes (on which I obviously got lost taking pictures)... and you represented it as always in a great way!

It reminds me a lot of the plain of Castelluccio.
The choice to include that close-up is strange, the yellow track forms a pleasant double arc but the closer part does not convince me much.
Hello!

Ciao, Alberto.

What a place Alberto.
I would say that the weights and volumes are well balanced, then maybe (and I say maybe) you could give a little more breathing space to the right side of the yellow serpentine as it is close to the edge but in naturalistic you often have to compromise :-) .
But that's okay, it is and remains a beautiful photo. Congratulations.
A warm greeting.
mark.

Very beautiful Alberto, I really like the colors of the mountains, and also the shades of green of the prairie, a fantastic place

The landscape that Alberto shows us has no equal and is simply wonderful. But believe me, looking at the photo the eye immediately went to the two minute human figures. They render well and make us understand how small we are in the presence of mother Nature. Another wonderful proposal.
I feel a healthy "envy" observing and thinking about what you have seen and experienced in Iceland.
Congratulations
A warm greeting.
Giancarlo

What doesn't convince you?

That ditch dug by the water on the left and the part on the right at the bottom where there is no grass.
I don't know, I'm used to seeing order and cleanliness in your photos and it seemed like a strange choice for you.

MrGreenMrGreen

Ciao, Alberto.

I had missed this one...
I did not imagine that there could be flower meadows in Iceland, in view of the always quite hostile climate.
So I change my mind! ;-)
It is a beautiful image, very balanced in composition and with beautiful natural colors.
Congratulations Alberto and happy 2025!

Thank you for the "recovery" Elisabetta! :-D
The sub-arctic tundra in summer has beautiful shades of yellow and green; what you see here are not white flowers but tufts of eriophores, also present in our Alps at certain altitudes and usually in peat bogs and at the edges of alpine lakes! ;-) The Icelandic Highlands are quite cold even in summer, but in other areas there are some beautiful blooms, especially of lupins! ;-)
