I was photographing that kestrel while it was flying, then when it disappeared from view I moved to another point, and I found it on that shrub right in front of me a few meters away. I immediately lowered myself so as not to be seen, nor heard, and I waited hoping he would turn around a bit, which then actually happened as you can see from the photo.
