Il campo stellare tra la cintura e la spada di Orione, con ben visibili la nebulosa di Orione (M 42) in centro e la Testa di Cavallo (B 33) più a sinistra. Nonostante l'utilizzo di una macchina fotografica non modificata e il tempo di ripresa non molto lungo, grazie al cielo molto buono è stato possibile evidenziare come sia ricca di nebulosità la zona di Orione. Le riprese sono state effettuate da Prato Barbieri (PC). Complessivamente sono state effettuate 40 pose da 60" con astroinseguitore iOptron SkyGuider Pro (per la quale ringrazio gli amici Cristian e Paolo) a cui si aggiungono 10 pose più brevi (da 5" l'una) per il centro del nucleo di M42. Un ringraziamento particolare va inoltre all'amico Jerry per l'integrazione ed elaborazione delle immagini.
