A bunch of flowers sent on December 06, 2024 (19:39) by Luigi Torino. 14 comments, 261 views. [retina]

, 1/20 f/3.5, ISO 250, tripod. Parco Nazionale dell'Aspromonte, Italy. Specie: Epipactis helleborine

You can see that the maf was aimed at a few subjects and this was not bad.
Given the beauty of the floor plan personally I would have played it on a greater pdc, but this is my defect of always looking for the greatest possible sharpness avoiding as much as possible the blur on the subject, but I repeat, this is my lack or my limit.

Such a flowery Epipactis is rare to find, at least in my area. I must say that I like the choice to select a very specific MAF, it is as if the flower climbs the mountain of other flowers behind. Beautiful

I'm very happy that you liked it, my intent was to highlight the freshest flowers and blur the base using a nearby plant of the same species. I didn't close the aperture because I think the photo would have been more chaotic with a more focused background and base.
These Epipactis can be a real spectacle in the case of specimens with a large inflorescence like the one shown here ;-)

Bella Luigi! As Giuseppe says, Epipactis are a challenge to photograph, and often also to identify. :-D
