Photos very interesting subject, cleaning and colors.

I cut just a little 'over head (say halfway between the top and the bottom end of the hair) and increased a little' depth of field (only slightly).
Greetings

I understand the "cut head" (poor Francesca!) When combined with different depth of field that you suggest. But I wanted to keep most of my head to accentuate the bokeh.

_richard, I'm grateful for two reasons: 1) you have looked at the picture; 2) you did it very carefully.

Grazie del "grazie".
Sorriso

MrGreen

Thank you for the "thank you".
:-)

Deepen: I understand the intent, but ... the fact that you have included so much head without increasing the depth of field, causes the center of the head there is an area of ??focus, while others are crisp hair.
I do not really like this thing: I understand all the hair out of focus, or understand the include less hair.
So, however, there are many and some are blurred (in the middle) surrounded by hair on fire.
Here, I have explained better what I mean ...
Greetings

Ps I agree with the question that the look can mean by "now burst into laughter" to "if you stay there one more second ... you sbrano."
:-D

_richard, sei proprio gentile!
Ripeto: forse hai ragione.

Castellabate

_richard, you're really kind!
Now everything is clearer and, perhaps, you're right. Shooting at f3.5 or f4 I would have avoided that effect, though I'm not sure about the outcome. I repeat: maybe you're right.

At most ... however, what you can do in PP, is to cut a little higher just to see how it is ... ;)

Ciao Castellabate

Hello Castellabate
Congratulations for the photo .... are d 'agreement with Richard about the cut of the head ... just to center the 'intend to meet the eyes of the model, reducing the mass of hair can only help bring the' attention on the very expressive eyes of the girl who currently own are distracted by the overlying mass of hair that lead the eye position extends over a frame a bit penalized .... 's important, however, that the content you've centered the rest is within reach of a click .... hello, Beppe

_ richard e Beppe Cialona, grazie a entrambi.

Castellabate

_ Richard and Beppe Cialona, ??thanks to you both.
I'm glad that you like the photo.
Indeed, with the cut proposed by _richard the result is better.
Now, how do I post it in this new edition without losing visits and comments?

I find it as spontaneous as wonderful for both the cut for the eyes

SorrisoSorrisoSorriso

Since "tot capita tot sententiae", I would say mine: I like the original photo and does not eseguirei no cut. The camera includes a "mass" wider hair accentuates the look "from bottom to top" of the small model and poses a ratio proportions in the picture that gives personality to the subject, on the other hand, the picture is in most parts of a sort of continuous game between "out of focus" and "on fire". Maybe technically could be improved (unfortunately on this point my knowledge is limited), but I find it reaches a full and convincing expression. Congratulations to Castellabate and also to my little namesake! :-) :-) :-)

@ Gtabbi - Grazie!

@ Francesca Doria - Pubblico poco perché stimo pochi miei scatti.
Complimenti.

Castellabate

@ Gtabbi - Thanks!

@ Francesca Doria - Public just because I respect my few clicks.
The criticism that some have moved in this portrait are in my opinion shared. At the same time, I must say that there are times when I look at her and I think I see exactly the image I had in mind when I tripped. Well, I am very conflicted: I appreciate the criticism of those who preceded you and I also appreciate what you say with your comment (articulated and well thought out!).
In the meantime, thank you very much for posing your critical and profound impact on my photography and for having appreciated.
Thanks for the compliment addressed to my little Francesca.
I had a look at your profile and I got to enjoy your photos. Compliments.

Comunque molto bella.

I do not know, maybe I'm wrong but I had already admired somewhere this photo. Still very nice.
