" .. giungo all'assolata piazza centrale del paese. Qualche cane acciaccato ad annusare la strada ed una panchina popolata da anziani il cui sguardo non smette di seguirmi. Un refolo d'aria stanca muove le infiorescenze di una grande palma. Immagine di un meridione ancora afflitto dal male dello spopolamento. Le cose qui, sembrano immuni ai cambiamenti. Il sangue giovane non smette di scappare altrove per donare speranze e vitalità ad altre terre. Chi rimane ha l'aria di chi ha imparato a convivere col poco che è intorno. Appena oltre un angolo, la Bottega di Antonio, storico ceramista, tra gli ultimi esponenti d'una tradizione antichissima. Intorno all'attività di questi artigiani, anch'essa refrattaria alle trasformazioni e perciò ancora così autentica e misteriosa, sopravvive l'impronta più vera d'una piccola comunità immersa tra formidabili boschi di ulivi, alti come solo qui potrete trovarne, braccia allungate verso il blu del cielo di Calabria". ____________________________________________________________ Seminara (RC);
