Prima della fotografia il compito di raccontare per immagini era affidato alla pittura... Se volessimo catalogare questo quadro, da me fotografato, direi che contiene elementi di ritratto, fauna, macro-flora, still life. Si tratta di un dipinto olio su tela, che ho il piacere di ammirare quotidianamente sulla parete di casa, realizzato dalla mia cara nipote artista per una mostra, indetta anni fa da una nota fondazione artistica e dedicata al pittore spagnolo Salvador Dalì scomparso nel 1989. Quest'opera, che fu molto apprezzata dal pubblico in visita, oltre al ritratto dell'artista, contiene diversi elementi rappresentativi della pittura di Dalì presenti nelle sue opere più conosciute.
