Guidando verso casa dopo una passeggiata pomeridiana, ho visto lo spettacolo che si stava formando al tramonto, quindi ho effettuato una rapida deviazione di percorso verso il lungomare della capitale, cercando disperatamente un parcheggio prima che il fenomeno si dissolvesse. Mi sono fiondato sul primo che si è liberato e sono uscito correndo verso la spiaggia. Anche se la luce era scarsa, sono riuscito a scattare qualche foto. In oltre 40 anni di fotografia non avevo mai visto niente di paragonabile!
