Questa è la 'finestra' che accoglie i visitatori del Memoriale Brion, il celebre complesso funebre monumentale ideato dall'Architetto Carlo Scarpa e realizzato tra il 1970 ed il 1978, di recente restaurato e da poco donato al FAI dagli eredi del fondatore della Brionvega. L'opera, architettonicamente molto ardita per l'epoca, fu commissionata dalla moglie di Giuseppe Brion subito dopo la morte dell'imprenditore, e si trova accanto al cimitero di San Vito di Altivole (TV), suo paese di origine. I due coniugi riposano ora una accanto all'altro all'interno del complesso, e questa 'finestra', che riproduce le due fedi nuziali che si intrecciano, vuole simboleggiare l'amore coniugale. L'architetto Scarpa, proprio per questo, volle essere certo che la moglie non si sarebbe mai più risposata, prima di realizzare questo dettaglio, divenuto nel tempo il simbolo di questo monumento.
