As for the 'breath technique', I personally experimented with it around the early 80s to ape portraits with the 'flou' effect of David Hamilton's young maidens (maidens in bloom, some would say...)
I have never ascertained de Hamilton but breathed on the lens... :-D ;-)

Quanto alla 'tecnica dell'alito', la sperimentai personalmente intorno ai primi anni '80 per scimmiottare i ritratti con l'effetto 'flou' alle giovani pulzelle (fanciulle in fiore, direbbe qualcuno...) di David Hamilton.
Non ho mai appurato però de Hamilton alitasse sull'obbiettivo...
