Il castello di Monteriggioni fu fondato dalla Repubblica di Siena agli inizi del XIII secolo ponendolo al centro del sistema difensivo del confine settentrionale. L'imponenza delle sue torri impressionarono Dante Alighieri a tal punto che lo ha citato nella Divina Commedia: “Però che, come su la cerchia tonda, Monteriggion di torri si corona…” (Canto XXXI 40 Inferno). Ho voluto immortalare il profilo delle torri sotto la serenità del cielo stellato cercando di armonizzare il connubio tra il cielo e il paesaggio collinare connotato da vigneti ed ulivi. Dati tecnici: Cielo somma di 305 scatti da 20” con Nikon Z9 a 400Iso, Nikon Z24-70/2.8 chiuso a f/4 e focale pari a 32,5mm (leggero crop in postpproduzione). Panorama con HDR di 5 scatti ripresi con la stessa strumentazione dello startrail. Data 31 Ottobre 2024, sito Poggio Compassini
