Really well done! It looks like a single shot so well done is the fusion of the comet with the background sky.
May I ask you what technique you followed for the elaboration?
Anyway, congratulations, great image.

Beautiful image.... I also follow to know the details of the processing.
Hello
Gp
PS: I read only now... DSS as a software, if you have used it for the summing and assembly of comets and stars I would like to know just how you did it..... I have never been able to get anything out of it! :-/

I had also missed the use of DSS, and in fact you absolutely have to explain to us :-D
I've never gotten anything good out of it either, and I'm trying a lot having two evenings on the comet still to be processed

I had managed to stack comets with DSS in the past and it had also come out quite well with the automatic mode, but I tried with recent A3 files and it sucked :-/

The only element that does not satisfy me is the shape of the stars, which unfortunately was affected by the absurd humidity that was there in those days, appearing like balloons, due to the halos of swelling on the stellar edges.
I wanted to add that unfortunately DSS is unreliable for satisfactory work on comets, there is too much unpredictability about the result, which in the long run leads to frustration. I have adapted like this, I hope it can be useful to those like me who do not want to go crazy with that cumbersome software

Great result.
The comet is splendid and it is always pleasant to see the colors of the stars.
It is true that they are a bit swollen, but it does not disturb.
Congratulations also for the post procedure and for describing it.

Congratulations I am fasting in astronomical photography, but I cannot fail to congratulate you for the well-deserved recognition and for the passion that leads you to try and try again both in the shooting phase and in post-production to obtain fascinating results. Greetings. Magú
