Porta Asinaria: Un Portale nel Tempo Porta Asinaria è una delle porte più antiche e affascinanti delle Mura Aureliane di Roma. Situata a pochi passi da Porta San Giovanni, questa porta rappresenta un vero e proprio ponte tra l'antica Roma e la città moderna. Un Po' di Storia Originariamente costruita come una piccola apertura tra due torri quadrangolari, Porta Asinaria prende il nome dall'antica Via Asinaria che vi passava. Questa strada secondaria collegava Roma con la Via Tuscolana. Nonostante le sue dimensioni modeste all'inizio, la porta ha giocato un ruolo cruciale in diversi momenti storici: Guerra Greco-Gotica: Sia Belisario che Totila, durante la guerra greco-gotica, entrarono a Roma attraverso questa porta.
