Dal tratto finale del sentiero che porta alla cima del monte Robon sono ancora chiaramente visibili i resti dei ricoveri di prima linea che nel corso del primo conflitto mondiale fornivano riparo alle truppe alpine , senza sforzarci molto possiamo facilmente immaginare quanto fosse scarsa la loro utilità ben sapendo che nel periodo invernale l'altezza media del manto nevoso in zona supera tuttora abbondantemente i tre metri .
