Situata all'estremità del ponte di Galata, la Moschea Nuova è una delle più grandiose della città. Risale all'epoca in cui alcune donne dell'harem acquisirono un potere tale da decidere la politica dei sultani ottomani. La costruzione dell'edificio iniziò nel 1597 con Safiye madre di Mehmet III, ma fu sospesa alla morte del sultano, quando Safiye perse la posizione acquisita. Venne ultimata solo nel 1663 dopo che Turhran Hadice, madre di Mehmet IV, si occupò nuovamente del progetto. Anche se fu eretta secondo i canoni classici del periodo ottomano, la moschea mantiene molte caratteristiche delle antiche fondamenta imperiali, tra cui il cortile monumentale. Un tempo la moschea possedeva un ospedale, una scuola ed i bagni pubblici.
Located at the end of the Galata Bridge, the New Mosque is one of the grandest of the city. It dates from the time when some women of the harem acquired such power to decide the policy of the Ottoman Sultans. Construction of the building began in 1597 with Safiye mother of Mehmet III, but was suspended after the death of the sultan, when Safiye lost the position acquired. Was completed only in 1663 after Turhran Hadice, mother of Mehmet IV, took back the project. Although it was built according to the traditional Ottoman period, the mosque retains many features of the ancient imperial foundations, including the monumental courtyard. Grazie del passaggio e del graditissimo commento Michela. Era un controluce, come si evince anche dalla presenza del bagliore sul minareto di destra ed era necessario fare qualche intervento per migliorare la lettura nelle ombre, con una immagine un po' più dettagliata su una singola esposizione. Onestamente non saprei dirti, non possedendolo, se l'Ipad esalti maggiormente i dettagli rispetto al monitor del mio portatile. Carissimi saluti e buona luce Koda.

It was a backlight, as evidenced by the presence of the glow of the minaret of the right and it was necessary to do some intervention to improve reading in the shadows, with an image of a little 'more detailed on a single exposure. I honestly could not tell you, not owning it, if the Ipad brings out more details from the monitor of my laptop.
