Una delle imprese più estreme che abbiamo mai affrontato, un lungo trekking nel sali - scendi nella Giungla più selvaggia alla ricerca degli Orango. Condizioni climatiche proibitive, fatica, sanguisughe, umidità in ogni dove...ma poi alla loro vista tutto passa. Una specie a rischio d'estinzione dove il loro habitat è circondato da coltivazioni di Palma da olio a perdita d'occhio. La tutela di questo grande Primate dovrebbe essere prioritaria, ma così non sembra. Lo stesso turismo dovrebbe essere controllato allo stesso modo dei Gorilla in Uganda. Il futuro degli Orango è purtroppo nelle nostre mani. #wild 12.08.2024 Sumatra Jungle, Gunung Leuser National Park. Tourism itself should be controlled in the same way as the Gorillas in Uganda. The future of Orang-utans is unfortunately in our hands.
