Per raggiungere questa terrazza è necessario salire circa 200 scalini ma, In alternativa, si può utilizzare la comoda funicolare che permette di arrivare in poco più di un minuto al punto panoramico. Esso regala agli occhi dei suoi visitatori uno dei più suggestivi e romantici scorci sulla città. E' possibile ammirare il corso dell'Adige che scorre sotto Ponte Pietra, alla testata sud del quale si erge la Torre di Alberto I° della Scala (datata 1296) - residenza di Carla Fracci - e il centro storico con i suoi campanili e le sue architetture di ogni epoca.
