Il nostro viaggio in Francia si avvia lentamente alle battute finali , ci lasciamo alle spalle la Bretagna che ci ha ospitato per una settimana e l'amico PaoloP che ha grandemente contribuito a rendere questa nostra vacanza interessante , senza alcun indugio puntiamo verso la zona di Mont Saint Michel nostra prossima meta sulla quale abbiamo riposto parecchie aspettative. Fin dal nostro arrivo ci accorgiamo che l'area dei parcheggi è notevolmente affollata , poi iniziamo ad avvicinarci all'abbazia e osserviamo un esponenziale aumento di turisti che si comportano in maniera frenetica alla stregua di uno sciame impazzito , ogni tanto ci fermiamo alla ricerca di un Pdr che mi permetta di fare qualche foto cercando di minimizzare l'esagerata presenza di persone che senza alcun ritegno mi si piantano continuamente davanti , provo a fare qualche scatto e poi decido di rimettere la fotocamera nello zaino sperando di trovare più avanti qualche momento di tranquillità ma purtroppo dovrò constatare che questo sarà il leitmotiv di tutta la visita all'abbazia, alla fine del tour conterò non più di una decina di scatti ... , ad ogni buon conto la foto dell'abbazia per scontatissima che possa essere non potevo non pubblicarla . Concludo questo minimale racconto con un utile suggerimento , ovvero ... se mai metteste in cantiere l'idea di una visita al sito (che senza dubbio alcuno è fantastico), se ne avete l'opportunità evitate i week end o meglio ancora cercate di programmare una visita al di fuori della stagione turistica.
