As you have observed, here human figures are very fundamental. It was a shot caught on the fly: I saw the two people almost "stuck" in that patch of land and I shot almost instinctively. Actually, I had been concentrating on portraying that beautiful, almost vertical wall furrowed by branching rivulets for a while... ;-)
As I have already had the opportunity to write, by my nature I do not particularly like to include human figures in landscape shots, but in this location it came almost naturally to me because thanks to them I found that sense of splendid bewilderment, admiration and alienation that I felt myself in walking those hills far and wide! :-)

E' stato uno scatto colto al volo: ho visto le due persone quasi "incastrate" in quel fazzoletto di terra e ho scattato quasi istintivamente. In realtà era da un po' che mi stavo concentrando a ritrarre quella bellissima parete quasi verticale solcata dai rivoli ramificati...
Come ho già avuto modo di scrivere, per mia natura non amo particolarmente includere le figure umane negli scatti di paesaggio, ma in questa location mi veniva quasi naturale perchè grazie a loro ritrovavo quel senso di splendido smarrimento, ammirazione e alienazione che provavo io stesso nel percorrere quelle alture in lungo e in largo!
