Ci troviamo in Abruzzo presso il comune di Sant'Egidio alla Vibrata, nella frazione di Faraone. Il borgo conosciuto con il nome di Faraone Antico ha origini che risalgono intorno all'anno 1000 e fu abbandonato completamente nel 1965 a causa dei danni provocati da un terremoto nel 1950. Per entrare nel borgo si deve attraversare un piccolo ponticello a ridosso di una torre merlata, al suo interno troviamo circa 25 edifici e una chiesa.
