Rivalta sul Mincio, anno 1985, il faticoso trasporto della carice (erba di fiume) - BN da diapositiva Kodakrome 50 a colori digitalizzata in proprio. Il percorso della carice è lo stesso della canna palustre, però con utilizzi diversi. E mentre la seconda furoreggiava d'inverno, la seconda esplodeva d'estate. L'erba di fiume. Se pensiamo all'impiego di questo elemento vegetale ci rendiamo conto di quanto la fantasia operi nel quotidiano. Impagliare le seggiole o i fiaschi può sembrare un elemento trascurabile nel contesto economico generale; invece quanto lavoro, quanta poesia nei fasci enormi portati sulla bicicletta, pesati e infine affastellati in ordinatissimi cumuli. Anche in questo caso ci troviamo di fronte a un pezzo di storia del quale sentiremo parlare soltanto nei nostalgici revival della nostra gente.
