Uno degli oggetti celesti più caratteristici, chiamato spesso "l'occhio di Dio", la nebulosa "Elica" (Helix) sorge abbastanza bassa sull'orizzonte, dalle mie parti supera di poco i 30°, nella sua massima altezza, purtroppo è in direzione delle luci di Cagliari, che in linea d'aria dista 35 km circa. La nebulosa elica, catalogata anche com NGC 7293 o C63, è una nebulosa planetaria visibile nella costellazione dell'Acquario. Dista da noi circa 650 anni luce, ed è in sostanza una bolla di gas espulso da una stella gigante. Questo è il secondo tentativo di ripresa di questo oggetto, a distanza di 3 anni. E' il risultato dell'integrazione di 115 scatti da 3 minuti ciascuno, acquisiti col solito setup: Celestron RASA 8 (400mm f/2), camera ASI 183 MC-Pro e filtro a doppia banda stretta IDAS NBZ. Ho sostituito il precedente caricamento per via di un problema col profilo colore. Elaborazione in drizzle x2.
