In barca fra i canali dal Mincio verso il borgo, e ancora passeggiando tra quotidianità e sguardi incuriositi Gian Antonio Zapparoli con la sua macchina fotografica ci porta nel “magico borgo” di Rivalta sul Mincio. Il servizio fotografico realizzato tra il 1984 e il 1985 e volutamente rivisitato in bianco nero ci illustra con sapiente poesia la raccolta e la lavorazione della canna palustre e della carice, i mestieri e le tradizioni di un borgo che ancora oggi ci affascina con l'incanto naturalistico delle sue “valli” colto con le fotografie di Stefano Melara.
