Oggi condivido un mio scatto a cui sono molto legato per le emozioni che mi trasmette ogni volta che lo guardo: “Reflecting Absence” è il nome dell'opera architettonica realizzata a Ground Zero in memoria dell'11 settembre. Attraverso il vuoto di due grandi vasche situate dove sorgevano le due torri gemelle, il progetto di Michael Arad evoca il senso di perdita e assenza causate dalla tragedia del World Trade Center. I visitatori possono raggiungere lo spazio interrato attraverso un percorso di discesa che li isola dalla luce e dai suoni della città accompagnandoli solo col suono generato dalle cascate d'acqua. 11 settembre 2001, per non dimenticare... #newyork #Reflecting_Absence
