2024 Nay nel Sud-ESt della Francia (Pays-Basque et Bearn), la città dove hanno inventato il berretto basco, terra di forte identità culturale, tradizionale e linguistica che valica la frontiera con la Francia per estendersi fino alla Spagna. Eric, un'artigiano carpentiere che fabbrica e ripara i tetti delle case. il contesto dello scatto : Ero in vacanza da un amico che abita nella regione dei Pirenei a Nay e durante il soggiorno c'era una squadra di carpentieri che montava le travi di legno e le tegole per rifare il tetto di casa sua, avevo adocchiato subito questo personaggio (Eric) ma mi sono deciso a domandargli se potevo fotografarlo solo all'ultimo momento quando avevano finito il cantiere e se ne stavano andando via, allora sono salito di corsa al piano di sopra per prendere la prima fotocamere che mi capitava sotto mano (ne avevo 2 e sono capitato sulla vecchia EOS 5D, contrariamente a quanto indicato nei dati) e ho scattato la foto ancora col fiatone (infatti ho cannato l'esposizione ma in raw niente di grave).
