Notturne. Il 10 agosto, terzo giorno di Avventure Fotografiche, avevo già percorso parecchi chilometri e portavo con me tanto equipaggiamento fotografico nei giorni precedenti. Ero stanco, ma desideravo salire sul Col di Lana in estate per fare qualcosa di diverso con la fotografia notturna. Ho cercato di ridurre il peso dello zaino portando solo l'essenziale. Tuttavia, la complicazione maggiore era la mancanza di acqua in cima, così mi sono caricato di 4 litri d'acqua, rendendo di nuovo pesante il mio trasporto con 18 kg di zaino e pochissimo cibo: solo 3 barrette, due per la cena e una per la colazione. Questo scatto era un obiettivo che desideravo raggiungere da 6 anni e ogni volta che salivo non ero soddisfatto dell'angolazione della macchina. Questa volta, però, avevo un obiettivo zoom che mi permetteva di avvicinarmi e riprendere la scena nel modo corretto. Dopo aver posizionato la macchina e programmato gli scatti, mi sono sdraiato per due ore sulla panchina del bivacco, in attesa dell'alba per le foto e poi ho fatto una corsa veloce alla mia macchina per tornare a casa. 250 scatti per iniziare e vedere la formazione dell'immagine con AstroPanel è stato puro stupore. Il Col di Lana è uno dei posti che amo di più per la sua storia bellica e il panorama, ma con il sentiero che ogni volta mi fa impazzire di fatica, una volta in cima tutto passa perché è tutto meraviglioso da lassù, a 2.452 metri di altezza.
