Breathtaking view, excellently shot both for a very careful composition and for a very careful management of lights and colors
Congratulations @Toffa

Very beautiful, out of curiosity when did you take it?
It would be comforting if it were still recent with this amount of snow.
Congratulations
Giorgio

Hi Giorgio,
thank you very much!
I took it at the end of June, the amount of snow there was impressive.
The speed with which it melted is impressive, I saw photos from a few days ago of the high lobbia (the summit above the refuge) completely without snow. Unfortunately it was really hot at altitude

Thank you Toffa, I know these places very well, I climbed Adamello for the first time on August 16, 1982 and I took photos on the snow plain, comparing them with the current ones is impressive the degradation.
I see from your tunnels that you love the mountains with snow, if you are passionate about ski mountaineering, the classic tour that includes the Lobbie refuge is to go up (by cable car) from Ponte di Legno to the Presena, descend from the opposite side to the Mandrone and go up to the refuge, usually you include the climb to Punta Cannone to descend to the refuge and spend the night. The following day you cross the Pia di Neve and make the summit of the Adamello to descend under the Corno Bianco and go up to the Venezia pass to descend from the Pisgana glacier. it is a rather long ride but it is a lust absolutely to be experienced at least once. In March and April the refuge is open and managed.
Have a nice weekend
Giorgio
