CALAMITA COSMICA è un gigantesco scheletro umano lungo 24 metri, perfettamente corretto da un punto di vista anatomico tranne che per il lungo naso a becco. L'opera è in polistirolo ad alta densità ricoperta da colle siliconiche utilizzate per ottenere una superficie ossea liscissima e lucida. Nelle parti interne vi sono armature e profili in ferro atti a sorreggere le singole parti del colosso. Calamita Cosmica è il titolo “ufficiale” attribuito all'opera da Gino De Dominicis in occasione della prima comparsa del capolavoro in pubblico al Centre National d'Art Contemporain de Grenoble. La Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Foligno ne ha acquisito la proprietà nel 2004. È stata esposta in diversi luoghi in Italia e in Europa. Attualmente è esposta a Foligno al CIAC polo ex Chiesa della SS. Trinità in Annunziata. (da: https://www.calamitacosmica.it/ )
