Nel Bosco di Acquafrida (Ales, OR) è comparsa, presso quella che un tempo era una fonte, la statua di questo gigante. Costui, nel silenzio del bosco, osserva questa fonte ormai decadente, quasi in attesa che l'acqua torni a sgorgare dalle fontane. Intanto, egli guardia il bosco, silenzioso e severo, forte e granitico...per l'eternità. Per titolo e didascalia, nonché per il nome che ho attribuito alla statua, mi sono ispirato a una famosa saga di videogiochi, quella dei Dark Souls, di cui Yhorm il gigante appunto è uno dei personaggi. L'imponenza di questa statua me lo ha ricordato. L'ultima volta che visitai quel bosco la statua non c'era. Non so chi l'abbia realizzata, nè se sia l'unica. Sta di fatto che è qualcosa di affascinante e chiunque l'abbia realizzata ha la mia stima e la mia più grande ammirazione. Un carissimo saluto a tutti !!
