Stefano the Taka is a really nice tool, it has its limits it is a 4 inch and requires attention especially to keep the fire at night, but with the right software tools it is a real marvel.

I've been thinking about it for a while, but I've never made up my mind. It's a lot of expense
, I've heard from many people about the "problem" of focusing when the temperature changes.
perhaps.. for the moment enjoy it and congratulations again for the photo

Stefano, the problem of the fire that changes with even a slight variation in temperature is there but it is understandable given the structure of the instrument and the precision, just to be clear, the stars are not polystyrene balls, they are very fine dots.
However, all it takes is a good sequence management software tool that the problem is solved.
I use Voyager and when I resume with the Taka I refire automatically every 40 minutes, a problem gone.

Hi Marzio, congratulations on a really good recovery. To be picky, is there a gradient on the blue/purple on the right side of the image? :-D

Hi Gianluca, a pleasure to read you.
Maybe a little ... But you know, the colors in photos taken with narrowband filters leave a lot of room for creativity. :-D
