La Cannaiola verdognola fisicamente è uguale alla cannaiola comune, difficilmente distinguibile a vista, anche se a me sembra leggermente piu piccola di quella comune, ma potrebbe essere una mia impressione, la vera differenza è il suo canto, questo informandomi sulle sue caratteristiche in rete e confermate sul campo, infatti la sua caratteristica è il tipico canto, costituito quasi completamente da melodie o versi appartenenti ad altre specie, confermate dal fatto che mentre le riprendevo, erano una coppia, emettevano versi non tipici della cannaiola, il chè mi fece pensare che nei cespugli ci fossero altre specie, ma cosi non era, erano semplicemente loro a cambiare versi e tono.
