Castel Belfort si trova nel comune di Spormaggiore; venne costruito come castello medioevale intorno al 1311. Anche se attualmente è diroccato, sono ancora visibili la torre merlata e le mura perimetrali mentre gli orizzontamenti interni sono purtroppo crollati. Intorno alla metà del 1400 il cavaliere Cristoforo Altspaur della famiglia Reifer, in quel momento proprietario del castello, fu colpito da attacchi di pazzia. Tentò di uccidere la sua terza consorte Orsola convinto della sua infedeltà. La leggenda narra che ora Cristoforo sia un fantasma assetato di vendetta e che la sua presenza aleggi ancora fra le rovine del castello in cerca di prove del tradimento.
