Ecco la mia ultima impresa astrofotografica. Ci troviamo nella costellazione di Cefeo, dove risplende la splendida Nebulosa del Leone (Sh2-132). Questa nebulosa si distingue per una regione ad emissione di ossigeno doppiamente ionizzato, che appare di un intenso colore blu, e per una zona di idrogeno ionizzato, che si manifesta con un vivace rosso. Inoltre, è avvolta da numerose polveri nebulari oscure. All'interno di questa meraviglia cosmica si trovano anche alcune stelle di Wolf-Rayet, tra le più rare dell'universo. I fotoni catturati dalla mia camera astronomica hanno viaggiato per ben 10.400 anni luce attraverso il cosmo prima di raggiungere il sensore,questa è infatti la distanza che ci separa dalla Lion nebula.
