And what shovels!! :-o :-o :-o
Beautiful shot that strongly highlights the contrast between the natural beauty of Sardinia and the visual impact of air blenders :-/
Hello and happy mid-August :-)

unfortunately once again "progress" overwhelms ethics and people - we are all or almost all passive in the face of these decisions -
greetings dear Giuseppe

Between useless, phantom bridges and wind towers placed in the wrong places, they are just breaking the (wind?!!) blades!! Good evening Giuseppe.

Clive Hambler, lecturer in biology and social sciences at the University of Oxford, notes that wind farms are decimating populations of rare birds and bats around the world. He points out that in Spain alone, every year, according to research by the SEO/Birdlife group, wind farms kill from 6 to 18 million birds and bats... Other scientists raise alarm about the noise emitted by sonars when examining the seabed for the construction of wind turbines, which causes death whales and devastation of marine fauna. Similarly, the noise from the driving of hundreds of huge monopiles that support the towers and blades of wind turbines... We've found a miracle cure to kill the planet again...

How sad.... But in the end we probably don't deserve more... I am not very optimistic about the ability of mankind to reverse this course!
Despite all this, happy mid-August!

Look how wonderful it is :-o I am right now at almost 3000 meters. I enjoy not only the view but also the coolness of these altitudes. In Trento there is a risk of self-combustion. I hate the heat :-/ Spend it in the best possible way this Ferragosto Giuseppe.
Bye gios ;-)
