Giovanni comincia da una mattina...mi alzo molto presto per andare a fare due scatti di paesaggio all'alba ma non ci sono delle splendide condizioni come speravo. Il cielo non ha neanche una nuvola, il sole sta per sorgere ma non mi regala una bella luce sulla chiesetta di Caorle. Decido allora di provare un controluce, giro la fotocamera sul treppiedi e la punto verso il sole, aspettando una persona di passaggio per poter scattare una silhouette (si ottiene fotografando il soggetto in controluce in modo da poterne mostrare solo i contorni). Aspetto, passano alcune persone ma non nella posizione giusta, alcuni troppo vicini, altri dietro la macchina fotografica. In lontananza vedo un signore venire avanti con una andatura particolare, un po' ricurvo.. piano piano, con i piedi nell'acqua e le ciabatte in mano, ma non in mano e basta, in mano dietro la schiena...procede lentamente verso il sole che sta uscendo e si fa scegliere. Ricontrollo le impostazioni della macchina fotografica aspetto che lui abbia una gamba avanti e una indietro e scatto...riaspetto il passo successivo e scatto. Cosi per tre volte. Ecco la foto che volevo. Controluce, l'alba, una silhouette, la figura perfetta da disegnare. Non ho scattato più, fino a che non l'ho visto tornare indietro, ma non ho avuto lo stesso risultato. Ora mi guardava incuriosito fino ad avvicinarsi e indicando il treppiedi. " Che rilievi sta facendo con questi strumenti ? " mi chiede.
