Great shot, super "material" rocks detail, it almost seems you can hear them by running a finger on the screen (which I am careful not to do, if there is a difficult thing it is then to clean the grease from the monitor ... ).

Wonderful shot and shareable the bitterness of your caption

Dear Giuseppe, your caption saddens me but I want to think that nature will take back its spaces and the climatic cycle will return to what it used to be. Last January I found myself talking to a gentleman when I was in the high mountains in Argentina (it was the middle of summer there) and he told me that he was desperate because it had not snowed for 14 years and, since there were no watercourses at that point, the ground had become arid. Well this year it snowed in quantity and the reservoirs were filled with water. I hope that your Sardinia can also return to be full of a beautiful lush green.

Beautiful image, I had seen other photos of you of the beautiful panorama portrayed...
Nice idea to post an "old" photo that portrays what should be normality... But unfortunately that it is becoming an exception...
Now I expect more "cruel" photos to testify to the drought and aridity caused by human action...
Even here in Brianza in recent weeks the weather is African... An oppressive heat, but fortunately a particularly rainy spring and early summer should protect us from the drought phenomena that oppress much of the center-south ...
A refreshing greeting from Gianka Brianza

Your caption in these unlivable days feeds a sense of anguish and sadness, fortunately your photo satisfies our eyes at least.

It was believed that climate change should occur in centuries or millennia, but today we can see it in the course of a man's life :-(
Dramatically effective shot, dear Giuseppe!

This time more than on the beautiful photo I dwell on the caption.
there are those who choose and destroy the future of everyone and the rest of us, the herd, regret it but in fact we are all powerless...
I should feel guilty, like every man who has lived in the last eighty years, but it is not so: in my own small way I experience small discomforts hoping not to further offend nature. Nevertheless... It is useless.
For years I have been trying to elaborate this sense of impotent rebellion into something that becomes positive, concrete, that turns back the clock of global madness, but so far without a solution. I am endeared, not angry, by the "extremists", the young people of the latest generation, because in my opinion that naïve path will not lead to change. But what is the correct path, I don't know...

What a wonderful and evocative place Capo Nieddu ... Our land burns and dries up. he craves water like never before... And this image where fresh water offers itself to the sea, impetuous and powerful, is wonderful. In BN it then takes on a special charm. Congratulations ;-)

We ruined everything my friend. Irreversible situation. The consequences will be paid by the blameless future generations. Am I too catastrophic? No, I am pragmatic by training, I have a technical mentality that does not adapt to various circumstances for convenience. For the moment in my Trentino the situation is sustainable, the Alps still protect us.
Dramatically fascinating photo, in a landscape from Nordic sagas.
Happy Ferragosto Giuseppe.
Bye gios ;-)

Shot worthy of your skill as a great photographer that you are, unfortunately the absence of rain is a generalized problem and not only of the beautiful Sardinia, a warm greeting.
