Si tratta di una composizione LRGB, integrazione di 10 ore totali di cui 5 ore circa di luminanza e altrettante di colore. Siamo in Cassiopea e si vedono due ammassi, a sinistra l'Ammasso Farfalla Sfocata (NGC654) e a destra l'Ammasso Tagliaerba (NGC663) mentre vicino al primo c'è una bella oscura catalogata, se non vado errato, con LDN1332. La zona è ricca di polveri e per questo il fondo immagine ha queste sembianze, tipiche delle zone ricche di polveri ed IFN. Per quanto riguarda l'elaborazione la particolarità di questa astrofotografia, rispetto ai miei canoni, è che non ho effettuato nessuna riduzione stellare che sono esattamente come riprese. Solitamente per "smarcare" meglio nebulose o altri oggetti dal resto personalmente tendo sempre a ridurre i volumi stellari ma in questo caso non serviva. La calibrazione colore è spectrofotometrica basata sui miei filtri. Riprese effettuate con APO tripletto 102 mm a piena focale e camera monocromatica.
